my attempt at blending the arts I cherish

the celebration of my favorite mother

(she’s the grumpy lookin kid on the far right, but still wonderful)

today is my favorite mother’s birthday! her reply to that statement would be “Ahnna, I’m your only mother!”

but nevertheless, i just want to take a minute to tell of my love for her…

Mama, Mother, Marmie, Sharon Lee, Sher, etc…

you are the best thing that i have encountered so far in this life.

you always inspire me.

you are beautiful.

you have made me who i am.

you challenge me to be the very best that i can be, no exceptions.

you love me better than anyone in my life.

you teach me something new almost every day.

you are understanding even when i think you’re not.

you know exactly what i need before i say a word.

you try my coffee cause i love it even though you don’t.

you are literally the coolest mom because you listen to “hipster” music with Caleb and me.

you are genuine, true, and open.

you are you

and i wouldn’t want you any other way.

your only girl

“Men have forgotten this truth,” said the fox. “But you must not forget it.

You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed.

What a beautiful gift, Ahnna! This is a treasure!! There’s not a mom in the world that wouldn’t love to hear these words from their child. And I know it’s all true of your mom. She is the most amazing friend to me. I love her too.

Your mother is amazing! I haven’t known her long but I feel like I have known her forever! I love her and your family.
