my attempt at blending the arts I cherish
Disney World is an incredibly magical place if you aren’t aware.
about a fortnight ago, i was spending my entire week in Disney World with the dear King family and their wonderful daughter, my best friend, Wilson. it was my second time back in the place where magic hangs in the air, the characters i grew up with and hold dear walk the very grounds, singing can always be heard, fireworks fill the florida sky each and every night, and i cannot keep a smile off my face. i know inside that i’m still a child and i’m perfectly alright with that. so returning to the ‘Diz,’ as we called it, was a glorious time for me. it was a fantasmic week as we flew from park to park laughing our faces off, screaming like a small child on every ride, eating hot, buttery rolls on tower of terror, talking to the amazing Stephen and Ruby at the Nemo show, consuming delicious food all week, finishing an entire meal with chop sticks, celebrating Andrew’s 17 birthday, and simply reveling in youthful behavior wherever we went! i miss being there already, i know–pathetic, and i would like to attempt to continue to honor the Disney magic as much as i possibly can. yeah, cheesy, i don’t mind.
what if poems could be symphonies, and people their orchestra?
