Growing excitement.

Bug spray.

Sun rays.

Morning dove.

Dust clouds.

Holy Spirit.

Joy.

Calm.

Little bodies.

Loud.

Smiles.

Reunions.

Squeezing hugs.

Squeals.

Shouting.

Laughter.

Excitement.

Encouragement.

Chaos.

Stress.

Laughing it off.

“Miss Belle, come help me! Belle, I need you! Bella? Belle? Please help me!”

Big, sparkly eyes.

Sticky smiles.

Grimy hands.

Breezes.

More hugs.

Familiar faces.

Fellowship.

Joy.

Realization—“they’re finally here!”

Musty twine.

Rubbery eraser crumbs.

Children’s handwriting.

Patience.

De-stressing.

Day One–done.

Cleaning up.

Anticipation.

Driving.

Frustration.

Stuck.

Traffic.

Extreme excitement.

Praying for perfect timing.

Planes landing.

Parking spaces.

Eyes peeled for one boy.

At last.

5 months later.

World-traveler.

Waiting for my turn.

At last.

Timothy.

THE reunion.

Elation.

Peace.

Contentment.

Calm.

Smiles.

Happy eyes.

Realization—“he’s finally home.”

Saying “see you soon.”

Driving.

Grinning.

Open windows.

Interstate.

Moonlight, moonbright.

City.

Suburbs.

Country.

Sleepy.

Perfect song.

Sweet-smelling winds.

Wet hay.

Dry hay.

Fresh-cut hay.

Smoke.

Crickets.

Manure.

Heartbeat.

Homeward.

Blessed.

Loved.
