my attempt at blending the arts I cherish

the return of the sketchbook scans

i apologize to my lack of commitment to these weekly peeks into my meager little sketchbook. but summer came and my time was captured by far more important things… then three months of school passed and it’s almost december. where has the entire year gone?! my procrastination mixed with a great deal of perfectionism contributed to my not posting anything regularly, for if i cannot say or doodle as well as i wish then i would rather not do it at all. so here’s to breaking bad habits and being able to share works-in-progress with you.

to start it off is a dear gem that i’ve been dreaming up and working on for ages… the song that it was inspired is cinematic orchestra’s to build a home. here is the lovely live version.

Forgive my ignorance – but what dear soul is behind these lovely thoughts that i am so enjoying? i stumbled into this not fully understanding who the originator is. Ahnna, Ellen, a Myers…who?
