my attempt at blending the arts I cherish

a jaunt to bartlett lake

one afternoon, while mama, seth, and i were visiting amy in the wild west, we packed up our waters and loaded the car with all the little ones: on to bartlett lake! the 15 mile drive down was simply breathtaking. i loved watching grace and georgea through the lens–their pure joy at the menial act of throwing rocks into the sparkling blue water was too beautiful. what a special and refreshing treat it was to be able to spend time in Arizona with them. missing these darling girls today!
